Hair Braiding Lounge Policies 

Braiding Service Overview:

Tangireen Naturals offers a variety of professional crochet hair braiding services ages 8 and above. This is not a full service hair salon!  This is a hair-braiding studio, which does not offer hair salon services at this time. 

Tangireen Naturals do not offer the following:

  • Hair washing or conditioning

  • Hair Coloring or rinses

  • Hair Styling or thermal press

  • Hair Weaves

  • Dread Loc starter or maintenance

 

Appointment Booking Instructions:

Please text a photo of the desired style to 619-972-7069.

Include the hair brand, hair type, style length (10-24 inches)/sizes (S, M, L, J), hair thickness and your natural hair color.  This information is required to confirm booking. 

 

Forms Of Payment Accepted:

We accept Cash, Master Card, Visa, American Express, Debit Cards and invoicing via PayPal processing. We do not accept personal checks, bank checks or money orders.

 

Prices are Subject to Change:  

Tangireen Naturals Hair Braiding Lounge starting rates are subject to change based on hair condition, texture, fullness and length.. Starting rates do not include the cost of hair or any additional services.  

 

Facility Information:

Tangireen Naturals Hair Braiding Lounge is a private professional crochet hair braids facility, our services are provided via appointments only. 

  • Tangireen Naturals offer three appointment slots per day at 8am (earlier appt. available), 1pm or 5pm (last appointment slot of the day). The outlined appointments slots are designed to provide clients a 1-on-1 private and relaxing hair braiding experience.

  • Clients can bring up to 1 guest and no small children during appointments. Exceptions are given for clients with disabilities. 

  • TRNHBL reserves the right to refuse or deny braiding serviced, which are deemed damaging to your natural hair or based on the condition of the customer’s natural hair.  If a healthier braiding service is available, it will be offered, as an alternative solution. 

  • Tangireen Naturals Hair Braiding Lounge uses handmade organic hair care products, to help prevent damage and excessive breakage. Organic hair products smell fantastic, tingling on your scalp and keeps hair performing at it’s very best.

 

Discounts:

1st time visitors receive 10% off the 1stthree visits and 1 free basic moisturizing treatment. 

Seniors and veterans receive 10% off all crochet braiding services.  

Take 50% off crochet braid take down services, installed by Tangireen Naturals Hair Braiding Lounge.

Free toothbrushes during crochet installation only (control hair edges) and light snack, will be provided at each appointment. 

 

Right to Refuse Service:

  • We reserve the right to refuse service at any time. 

  • If a service provider feels that a client is behaving inappropriately, they are authorized to stop the service immediately and request the client to leave the premises. 

  • We reserve the right to request for the full or partial service cost, before the service is performed or at any time during the appointment. 

 

Deposit Policy:

Appointments are confirmed upon receipt of paid deposits. Deposits are due within 24 hours of receipt. Booking deposit are required to prevent ghost appointment bookings, were flexible with serious clients.

  • New clients are required to pay a non-refundable $50.00 deposit on crochet hair braiding services. 

  • All clients are required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit on all human hair and human hair mix crochets braiding services.  

  • All clients are required to pay a 33% non-refundable deposit Single hair braids, twist, faux Locs and goddess loc braiding services. 

 

Appointment Cancellations:

  • Please provide a 24 hours notice of cancellation, to prevent a 50% cancellation fee. Please provide a 48 hours notice of cancellation for human hair crochet braids, single braids, twist and locs service installation. 

  • No-shows, appointments cancelled upon arrival, and appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be charged the full price for all services booked. 

 

No Shows:

Clients whom fail to show or reschedule appointments are flagged as a chronic no show in our automated system and will result in pre-payment of all future services for future appointment bookings.. New clients will not be booked for their future appointment request.

 

Service Guarantee:

A 7-day service guarantee is offered on all hair braiding service after installation. Clients must provide the desired style hair length and thickness. Protective styles may last up to 8 weeks, with the proper hair care maintenance routine. We do not provide service guarantee on hair performance. Model Picture for style selection may not be exacts, due to head sizes, head shapes and hair density may differ than the desired model style. 

 

Hair Ordering Services:

Tangireen Natural Hair Braiding Lounge offers a free complimentary online (only) hair ordering service. Customer must provide and confirm the desired hair brand, hair type, hair name, hair length and color. 

 

Clients will be notified via text and/ or email of the final cost of the hair and a PayPal invoice will be issued, for receipt of hair payment. Hair deposits are due within 24 hours of receipt of invoice to avoid scheduling delays. We do not guarantee hair products.  

 

Hair orders are processed on the 10th, 20thand 30thof each month. If you want to enjoy our free services, all appointment must be scheduled 10 days or more from the hair ordering scheduled dates. 

 

Products Returns Or Exchanges:

Hair and Accessories cannot be returned to Tangireen Naturals Hair Braiding Lounge. TRNHBL will work with the vendor to process returns, within 3 business days of purchase date. If the hair has shipped, please be prepared to pay for additional shipping charges. 

 

Gratuities:

If desired, customers may add gratuity upon checkout. None of our braiding services include gratuity.

 

Appointment Hours: 

Sunday – Saturday 8 am – 6 pm. After hours appointments are available, with a booking fee required.

Phone /Text Hours:

Sunday - Thursday: 9am - 9pm (Last Appointment will be scheduled at 4pm)

CLOSED Hours- Call or text received after hours will be returned the following business day!

            

When To Arrive:

Please plan to arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your reservation to allow time for checking in, using the restroom, filling out medical history forms and getting settled.

 

Late Arrival Policy:

In order to remain on schedule for all our clients, we may shorten your service time if you are late for your appointment and regular service price will apply. Clients more than 15 minutes late are subject to cancellation.

 

Children: 

Children under 10 years old, who are not receiving a service, must be supervised by an adult not receiving a service and remain in the braiding lounge area.

 

For Your Protection:

We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles including clothing or accessories.

 

Cell Phones:

We want Tangireen Naturals to be a tranquil and stress-reducing experience for all. We request that you turn your cell phones to vibrate or silent and only conduct a conversation in the foyer or outside. Please use headphones if you’re watching videos. Please keep your head in the proper position for styling; if your head is n the down position during your appointment, this can cause styling errors.  

 

Alcohol:

No alcohol is allowed at Tangireen Naturals Hair Braiding Lounge.

 

Food and Beverage:

We are happy to provide complimentary coffee, tea, water and light snack. Sandwiches, meals, etc are not permitted in braiding lounge and a designated lounging and waiting areas is provided. A 15-minute food break will be provided depending on services.

Online Purchases Privacy Policy:

Our Privacy Policy describes the information we gather about you, and the purpose for which it is used. Tangireen Natural will never sell your information to any third party.

Identifiable information for customer’s completed transaction, our internal records or marketing images.

Information associated with your connection to our site including your IP address, operating system, Web browser, and page visits.

The email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, aggregate information on what pages customers’ access or visit, and any information customers volunteer.

Financial information, such as a credit card number, used for order processing only.

What we do with your information

The information we gather is used in-house to help us create a better and more effective shopping experience for our customers. Understanding typical navigational patterns helps us improve website flow and efficiency.

When you make a purchase, we will send you emails to confirm your order and may also need to contact you via phone, postal mail or email if we have other questions regarding your order.

 

Privacy and Security:

Tangireen Naturals Hair Braiding Lounge uses the latest encryption technologies to keep your personal information safe. Your private ordering information – including your credit card number – is encrypted using several keys for maximum security. Your credit card and billing information cannot be read as it travels to our ordering system (256 bit SSL encryption), and the numbers are unreadable to anyone trying to access the site remotely. The credit card information necessary to authorize an account is not stored by our systems and is only in use long enough to complete the associated transaction. The last four (4) digits of the credit card number are stored with transaction information for identification purposes. We have implemented the requisite physical, electronic, and managerial processes to prevent unauthorized access, and maintain data security.

Caution: Protective styles can be damaging to your natural hair, if not installed properly. Excessive pull and stress on hair edges and scalp can result in thinning or hair loss.

 

Natural hair can become stressed or damages when cornrows are too tight, over weighted by the extension hair, gravity and daily manipulation from styling. The increased pull of the scalp and hair can cause stress and damage to the hair follicles and edges, leading to breakage or hair loss.

 

Those suffering from excessive breaking or loss at the scalp may require further evaluation from a doctor before proceeding with hair braiding extensions.

 

Customer with Alopecia should consult a doctor, before booking. Alopecia is a type of hair loss that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, which is where hair growth begins. A healthy customized braiding solution is provided for clients under treatment and seeking a flawless style.

 

Important:Please Keep Up With Your Natural Hair Care Regimen! 

Do not shampoo your braids within the first 2 to 3 weeks. Use a moisturizer on the braids and scalp twice a week. If the hair has a curled pattern, before bed using your finger lightly twist, roll, or curl the hair according to the pattern and place a satin sleeping cap over head before sleeping, at all times.
